Religious
Education
In our Religious Education programs, catechists engage your
child in their faith journey with lessons, prayers, crafts, songs and bible stories
about God. Of course, Parents are still considered the primary
educators of your children in matters of faith formation—and we always honor that role!
Our program meets the needs of your child’s faith formation,
whether he/she is just beginning the 2- year process of preparing for their first
sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) and Eucharist (Holy Communion), or
continuing their faith journey after receiving sacraments, up to the eighth grade level!
For sacramental preparation, we use the series "God's Gift: 2016 edition" from Loyola Press. This program helps us to prepare students and their families for a lifetime of faith inspired by the graces received in the sacraments. We will also be using a new series by Matthew Kelly called Blessed to supplement our kids formation.
Older students study from the new 2016 edition of Christ Our Life, from Loyola Press. This program presents the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church and is the only program aligned with the Church's mission or a New Evangelization. This series is Christ-centered and a balanced approach to
catechesis, doctrine, scripture, tradition and spirituality for children.
